Brian Grazier Q & A Interview

Brian Grazier was selected with the 47th overall pick in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft by the Colorado Rapids. He begins preseason camp on Janurary 28th. SoccerCityFC interviewed Brian prior to the 2008 MLS Combine. Brian kindly answered three more questions on the eve of his professional career.

- Your teammate John DiRaimondo also competed with you in 2006 at St. Louis University. Have you spoken with him since the MLS SuperDraft? If so, what advice has he given you?

A: I have spoken with John since the draft and the biggest thing he stressed with me is the speed of play. You have to play one and two touch with confidence and you cannot be afraid of making mistakes.

- Are you looking forward to playing at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in front of 18,000?

A: I am looking forward to playing at Dick's Sporting Goods Park a lot. The new stadium has state of the art training facilities.

- Colorado has partnerships with both Arsenal F.C. of England and C.F. Pachuca of Mexico. Are you looking forward to the potential of a possible friendly with either of these globally recognized clubs?

A: Arsenal and Pachuca are great club teams and it would be honor to play them in a friendly. I am glad the Colorado Rapids organization has relationships with both clubs.
