Manchester City's and Chelsea's first leg of the FA Youth Cup Final ended 1-1 last evening in front of 11,000 at Stamford Bridge. The scoring came in the second half of play as City landed on the score sheet first in the fifty-first minute courtesy of Daniel Sturridge. Sturridge has become the brightest star on City's Youth Cup team during the 2008 tournament.
Chelsea's Gael Kakuta equalized in the sixty-eighth minute to the delight of the supporters at Stamford Bridge. City players and staff are satisfied to be returning to Eastlands with an opportunity to hoist the FA Youth Cup after the second leg on April 16th.
