Luis Montes Breaks Out Against D.C. United

First Leg of Semi Final in the CONCACAF Champions' Cup

Pachuca midfielder Luis Montes had a breakout performance this evening against D.C. United. Montes' two goals (63' & 81') in the second half now set Pachuca up for a likely spot in the finals of the 2008 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. The second-half substitute instantly impacted the game as he attacked D.C. United down the left side of the field. His second goal sent the 23,000+ Pachuca supporters home satisfied.

Montes so far is the only player to score for Pachuca in the 2008 Champions' Cup and now has three goals in the competition.

D.C. United will host Pachuca on April 9th in the second leg of the semi final.
