Uruguay Draws with Venezuela 1-1

With 2010 World Cup qualifying in full swing, South America's Uruguay allowed Venezuela to take an away point. Venezuela came from behind after Uruguay scored.

Fenerbahçe defender Diego Lugano scored early on for Uruguay but Venezuelan midfielder Ronald Vargas scored in the second half to send the supporters of La Vinotinto home satisfied with the result. The 21-year-old Vargas plays for Belgian side Club Brugge.

If you recall, Vargas recently scored in the friendly against Brazil that was held in the US.
