Liam Dickinson, a 22-year-old forward, was competing in non-league football only three years ago; now he has earned a spot on a Coca-Cola Championship side. He is over joyed with his move from Stockport County to Derby.
Dickinson scored the decisive goal in Stockport's League Two playoff final which earned the club promotion to League One.
The addition of Dickinson continues Derby County's free-spending ways this transfer season.
