Port Vale Stuns Huddersfield in FA Cup First Round Proper

Down 3-1 with around ten minutes to play, Port Vale stormed back to move to the second round of the 2008-2009 FA Cup today.

Forward Louis Dodds contributed a brace and his second goal tied the score at 3-3. Just prior, midfielder David Howland began Vale's epic comeback. Finally captain Marc Richards netted a free-kick to finish off the match.

Curzon Ashton F.C. defeated League Two side Exeter City F.C. at home by a score of 3-2. The UniBond League Division One North outfit survived a late rally from Exeter. Chris Worsley, James Ogoo, and Michael Norton scored for Curzon Ashton F.C.
