World Football Wrap Up - 29/1/10: Wellington Phoenix, Al Ain, and CS Sedan

Wellington Phoenix return to winning ways with a 1-0 over Adelaide United. The New Zealand based club now has 34 points from 25 A-League matches. Jon McKain with the first-half match winner.

In United Arab Emirates Premier League action, Al Ain, third in the table, dispatched Al Nasr by two goals. One of those goals came via Samba striker Emerson. The Brazilian is a fresh off a successful stint in his homeland with Flamengo. The 31-year-old has impressed thus far in the UAE.

France's Ligue 2 relegation battlers Sedan moved higher up the table with 3-0 victory. Cameroonian Marcus Mokake notched a brace over loser Clermont.
