Melbourne Victory striker Archie Thompson hopes he and the Australian club can work out a new deal that will keep him at the side for the remainder of his career.
The 32-year-old, the A-League’s all-time leading scorer, spoke to Australian media recently about the situation.
"I've been here already for five years and can't see myself being anywhere else. You don't know where football can take you, but we've started talking."
