SuperSport United's Bongani Khumalo is leaving the ABSA Premiership League for the spotlight of the EPL and Tottenham Hotspur.

SuperSport chairman Khulu Sibiya paid tribute to the 23-year-old South African international centre back on the club's offical website.

"Bongani has been an exceptional player for Supersport United," Sibiya said.

"His three and a half years at the club has seen him develop into one of the best footballers in the country and his contribution was a major factor in the club winning three consecutive ABSA Premiership League titles."

Mateo is known as the Croatian Messi but it seems these days that every country has a "Messi" climbing the ranks, still reports out of U-17 circles note that he has been very impressive in Croatia's national youth set-up.
