Chelsea, Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers off to Hong Kong in the summer of 2011 to compete in preseason Asia Trophy action

Premiership sides Chelsea, Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers will spend part of the 2011 summer training and competing in Hong Kong as the three clubs, along with the champion of the HK First Division League, will battle in a four-team tournament for the Asia Trophy.

Asia has proved fertile training grounds for clubs as they prepare for upcoming Premiership seasons and the these three will ready for the 2011-2012 Premier League Season in Hong Kong.

The tournament will be held at Hong Kong Stadium over two match days on July 27th and 30th.

The Asia Trophy, contested every two years since 2003, was last played in Beijing in 2009.
